The deficient insurance policy
I hope to convey here that when it comes to the floor that a repair item is to be compromised it is because of customer insurance coverage. This is not a concern of the Quality minded repair technician and is to be taken up with the customer prior to the repair being contracted. There are ryders that can be added to policies to cover, for the savvy customer, the needs to fill the gaps of a policy bought only at cost and not on required coverage. OEM certification demands need to be considered and discussed early on.
